For me, the key word is “tenderly” expressing the messages of the heart. In a world such as ours, hard edges poke and prod our hearts with outrage, fear, mind numbing loudness, cruel boasting, and more leaving us frozen or shouting back or simply bewildered. There is no tenderness anywhere. Otis Redding sang “try a little tenderness” to those of us who are weary. We approach the very young and the very old with tenderness in our hearts. How lovely to slow down and approach ourselves with tenderness. It is a balm that that soothes and replenishes our hearts so we may in turn go forth with tenderness in to a cold and frosty world.

So beautifully said.🙏
